"La Maison de la Tendresse: House of Tenderness"

On March 3, 2022 12pm, Dr. Evelyne Accad (Faculty Emerita), gave an in-person/virtual talk on, "La Maison de la Tendresse: House of Tenderness", a collection of five short stories recounting various forms of violence experienced by women in Lebanon.  The stories center on the role of tenderness, as a guide to understanding and reconstructing the inner house of the self.  This quest for self discovery allows the reader to discover a country where family ties sometimes destroy, and sometimes aid in healing trauma.
